I think he's the kind of scientist that understands that scientific truth is constantly evolving and we don't always have the complete picture on things. And he chooses his words VERY carefully to make sure that nothing is taken as gospel, especially to point out when things have not been entirely sussed out. If anything anecdotal comes up, he places a lot of importance on making sure you understand that what he is saying is anecdotal experience vs. It's very clear from his style of communication that he is honest: always makes sure to give attribution, tries to dig up confounding research and ties together findings that seem to disagree with each other. Huberman aims to be very precise and concise in communicating scientific literature that would take years of education for the layperson to understand. This podcast simply does not provide the necessary references in most cases. I try to fact-check everything, and I like going through articles and using tools to do so. This podcast has sent me on a lot of timely searches for articles without getting anything relevant back. Not only that, but it's not always clear how to find a reference for something after listening to an episode, because he doesn't mention the relevant scientific lingo to go find the references for ourselves.
